कानपुर ॥ दिनांक 10 फरवरी 2020, प्रेरणा महिला समिति (श्रमिक भारती का संघ) के तत्वावधान में ड्रीमिंग नॉर्थ इंडिया : एक कदम सतत जीविकोपार्जन की ओर' अभियान का आगाज़ जाजमऊ कार्यालय में किया गया जिसके अंतर्गत हाशिये पर ज़िंदगी व्यतीत कर रही बहिष्कृत समुदाय की युवतियों को बेहतर जीविकोपार्जन व स्वावलम्बी बनाने हेतु सक्षम बनाया जाएगा व उन्हें पूर्ण रुप से स्थापित करने हेतु यथासम्भव मदद प्रदान की जाएगी।
इस मौके पर प्रेरणा महिला समिति की प्रमुख काउंसलर व प्रशिक्षक सीमा पाण्डेय ने बताया कि समिति के वरिष्ठ प्रबन्धक विनोद दुबे के सपने को साकार करने हेतु यह पहल की जा रही है |
सीमा पाण्डेय ने अभियान पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा,"सपने देखना गलत बात नहीं पर उन्हें पूरा करने का ज़ज़्बा भी होना आवश्यक है। हमारी समिति 2010 से लगातार गरीब व वंचित समुदाय के लोगों के उत्थान हेतु प्रयासरत है और इस दिशा में हमने आशातीत सफलता हासिल की है। इस दिशा में एक कदम आगे बढ़ाते हुए हम अब सतत जीविकोपार्जन के अपने लक्ष्य को हासिल करने हेतु कटिबद्ध हैं। समिति द्वारा पूरे उत्तर भारत में इस मुहिम को चलाया जाएगा और अलग अलग समूह बनाकर युवतियों व महिलाओं को विभिन्न रोजगारपरक प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया जाएगा ।"
प्रेरणा महिला समिति की पूर्व अध्यक्षा गिरजेश पाल ने कहा कि वर्तमान समय में आर्थिक सुदृढ़ता अति आवश्यक है। महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने के लिए उनका स्वावलम्बी होना आवश्यक है । ज़मीनी स्तर से ऊपर उठ कर अपनी खुद की पहचान बनाने का हौसला व हुनर ही समाज में सतत विकास की अवधारणा को यथार्थ में तब्दील कर सकता है ।
समिति की वर्तमान अध्यक्षा मिथलेश सिंह ने बताया की सतत जीविकोपार्जन की दिशा में यह अभियान एक मील का पत्थर साबित होगा और अनेकों युवतियों को खुद की पहचान स्थापित करने की प्रेरणा प्रदान करेगा |
प्रेरणा महिला समिति की निरीक्षक अनुपम यादव ने अभियान के बारे में बताया कि युवतियों को इस मुहिम के द्वारा तकनीकि व व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त होगा जो समय की मांग है व पारम्परिक शिक्षा प्रणाली से अधिक लाभप्रद है ।
समिति की प्रशिक्षक स्वप्निल शुक्ला ने कहा कि प्रेरणा महिला समिति ने अब तक बेहद अल्प समय में ही विभिन्न मलिन बस्तियों की दशा व दिशा सकारात्मक रुप से बदल कर रख दी है। आज समिति की मदद से अनेकों महिलायें अपने घर की दहलीज़ पार कर आत्मनिर्भर बन चुकी हैं। अब आवश्यकता है उनके जीवन स्तर को और अधिक सुदृढ़ बनाने की। उनको व्यवसायिक शिक्षा प्रदान कर उनके भीतर स्वरोजगार स्थापित करने की क्षमता का विकास करना ही 'ड्रीमिंग नॉर्थ इंडिया' का लक्ष्य है ।
इस मौके पर प्रेरणा महिला समिति से प्रमुख रूप से सीमा पाण्डेय, गिरजेश पाल, मिथलेश सिंह, अनुपम यादव, ओम प्रकाश निषाद, हरि गोविन्द, अपूर्व मिश्रा, संजीव कुमार, स्वप्निल शुक्ला व ऋषभ शुक्ला आदि उपस्थित रहे ।
वर्ष 2010 में स्थापित प्रेरणा महिला समिति, एक आत्मनिर्भर संस्था है जो कि श्रमिक भारती का एक महासंघ है । माइक्रोफाइनेंस गतिविधियों के अतिरिक्त, प्रेरणा महिला समिति जागरूकता और सेवा सुधार के लिए स्थानीय समुदायों में जल व स्वच्छता के मुद्दों पर जागरूकता पैदा करने में सक्रिय रूप से शामिल है। शहर के किनारे पर रहने वाले लोगों के लिए अस्पतालों और मेडिकल कॉलेज के सहयोग से नि: शुल्क स्वास्थ्य जांच शिविर, दंत चिकित्सा शिविर का आयोजन भी संस्था द्वारा निरन्तर किया जाता है |संस्था द्वारा अब तक 45513808 रुपयों की सामूहिक बचत व 38528400 का ऋण वितरित किया जा चुका है । संस्था महिला सशक्तिकरण, बेटी बचाओ - बेटी पढ़ाओ व सतत जीविकोपार्जन के क्षेत्र में अग्रणी भूमिका निभा रही है।
Kanpur. 10th February 2020, A Campaign titled as 'Dreaming North India : A Step Towards Sustainable Livelihoods' was launched under the aegis of Prerna Mahila Samiti (Shramik Bharti's Federation) in the Jajmau office with the motive to empower the women and girls from vulnerable section of the society and enable them to be self-reliant. This main objective of this campaign is to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities to excluded community and help them make an identity of their own.
Seema Pandey, Lead Counsellor and Trainer of Prerna Mahila Samiti, said that this campaign is an initiative to fulfill the dream of organization's CEO Vinod Dubey.
Seema Pandey further said that dreaming is not a wrong thing but it is necessary to have the passion to fulfill your dreams as well. Our organization has continuously strived for the upliftment of the poor and deprived communities since 2010 and we have achieved unprecedented success in this direction. Taking a step forward in this direction, we are now committed to achieve our goal of sustainable livelihood. Our organization will run this campaign all over North India and marginalised women and girls will be given various employment training by forming different groups.
Girjesh Pal, ex-President of Prerna Mahila Samiti, said that at the present time, economic stability is very important. It is necessary for women to be independent in order to become empowered. The courage to rise above ground level and create one's own identity can translate the concept of sustainable development in society into reality.
Mithlesh Singh, current President of Prerna Mahila Samiti said that this campaign will prove to be a milestone in the direction of sustainable livelihood and will inspire many adolescent girls and women to make a identity of their own.
Anupam Yadav, supervisor of Prerna Mahila Samiti said that the women will receive technical and vocational training through this campaign which is the need of the hour and is more beneficial than the traditional education system.
The training head of the organization, Swapnil Shukla, said, "Prerna Mahila Samiti has changed the condition and direction of various slums positively so far in a very short span. Today, with the help of the organization, many women have crossed the threshold of their home and become self-sufficient. Now there is a need to strengthen their standard of living. The goal of 'Dreaming North India' is to develop the ability to establish self-employment within them by providing them vocational education.

Established in 2010, Prerna Mahila Samiti is an urban federation which is an umbrella community organization of Shramik Bharti. Neighbourhood groups of eastern part of the Kanpur city have organized themselves into the self-sustained organization. Evolving with the times in addition to microfinance activities, Prerna Mahila Samiti is actively involved in creating awareness on Water, Sanitation & Hygiene issues in local communities for awareness and service improvement.
