1942 में चित्तौड़्गढ़ जिले के कस्बे बड़ी सागड़ी में जन्में प्रोफेसर चिन्मय जी (Prof Chinmay Mehta) की कला का सूरज देश विदेश में चमकता दमकता हुआ , भारतीय कला जगत को गौरवान्वित कर रहा है . चिन्मय जी की अद्वितीय प्रतिभा चित्रकला , शिल्प के साथ -साथ वॉल पेंटिग्स ( म्यूरल्स ) एवं आर्किटेक्च्यूरल डिज़ाइनर के रुप में भी फैली है.
जयपुर ,राजस्थान स्थित चोखी ढाणी व हैदराबाद स्थित ढोला री ढाणी, सर्वतोमुखी प्रतिभाओं के धनी चिन्मय जी की विशिष्ट एथ़निक व देशी स्थापत्य कला के प्रत्यक्ष उदाहरण हैं. इसके अलावा राजकोट, उदयपुर व जोधपुर में इनकी प्रतिभा व कला कृ्तियों के दर्शन सुलभ हो सकते हैं.
1963 में आगरा विश्वविद्यालय से चित्रकला में परास्नातक एवं 1984 में पी. एच. डी उपाधि प्राप्त श्री चिन्मय मेहता जी सांस्कृ्तिक कार्यकर्ता के रुप में भी सक्रिय हैं. 'आयाम '- इंस्टीट्यूट आफ (Prof Chinmay Mehta) आर्ट एण्ड कल्चर, जयपुर के चेयरपर्सन के तौर पर उनकी भूमिका व योगदान सराहनीय है.
प्रोफेसर चिन्मय जी (Prof Chinmay Mehta) ने भारतीय जीवन में सक्रिय रुप से एकात्म होकर कला जगत एवं कला प्रेमियों को राजस्थान की महान संस्कृ्ति और विरासत को अपने चित्रों, शिल्प व म्यूरल्स ( भित्ति - चित्र ) में अंकित कर , कला जगत में अपना महान व अनुकरणीय योगदान प्रस्तुत किया है .
इनके द्वारा बड़ी ही खूबसूरती, परिश्रम से रचे व गढ़े गए भित्ति - चित्र ( म्यूरल्स ) देखते ही बनते हैं. बात चाहे जयपुर स्थित रेमण्ड शोरुम की हो या नटराज रेस्तराँ , जयपुर में इनके द्वारा तैयार किये गए उभारदार भित्ति - चित्र या गणपति प्लाज़ा के फ़'साड में बनाया गया उभारदार भित्ति - चित्र , इनका कार्य अत्यंत प्रभावशाली व बेहतरीन है .
जहाँ पैपर मैश द्वारा बनाया गया उभारदार भित्ति - चित्र, ऊर्जा भवन , जयपुर की शान है तो लंदन के नामचीन रेस्तराँ में बनी 1800 वर्ग फीट की वॉल पेंटिंग , चिन्मय जी (Prof Chinmay Mehta) की कला उपलब्धियों व गौरव में इज़ाफा करती है. ये तो चंद उदाहरण मात्र हैं , चिन्मय जी ने न जाने कितने ही कला के छात्रों के भीतर कला के बीज का अंकुरण कर उसे एक विशाल वृ्क्ष में तब्दील किया है. राजस्थान ललित कला अकादमी के पूर्व चेयरमैन व राजस्थान यूनिवर्सिटी के फाइन आर्टस डिपार्टमेंट के वरिष्ठ प्रोफेसर व डीन के तौर पर , कला के क्षेत्र में अदभुत योगदान देकर , अपने पद की गरिमा को कायम रखा . ललित कला अकादमी द्वारा उन्हें नेशनल एकेडमी अवार्ड से भी सम्मानित किया गया है .

He is skilled in variety of handicrafts such as Painting, Metal craft etc.
Working for Swapnil Saundarya Label and Rishabh Interiors and Arts simultaneously, Rishabh has own acclaims from both critics and common people. He has held several art exhibitions and these have brought excellent response every time. Rishabh’s abstract depictions of women are said to endorse the stereotype of ‘Indianness’. His women are always represented as the mother, the lover, the seductress, or the muse. Rishabh blogs on Art, History recalls, youth issues, sports, Lifestyle & Society.
