Maa Lakshmi is a Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity, and abundance. She is often depicted in Hindu art and iconography in various forms, each representing a different aspect of her power and influence. Here are the eight forms of Lakshmi and their iconography:

1. Adi Lakshmi: Adi Lakshmi is the primary form of Lakshmi and is depicted as a beautiful woman with four arms, seated on a lotus flower. She holds a lotus flower in two of her hands, while the other two hands are in the mudra of giving and protection.

2. Dhana Lakshmi: Dhana Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, is depicted holding two lotus flowers and showering gold coins from her hands.

3. Dhanya Lakshmi: Dhanya Lakshmi, the goddess of food and nourishment, is depicted holding a sheaf of wheat and a lotus flower.

4. Gaja Lakshmi: Gaja Lakshmi, the goddess of elephants and abundance, is depicted surrounded by elephants and holding two lotus flowers.

5. Santana Lakshmi: Santana Lakshmi, the goddess of progeny and fertility, is depicted holding a child in her arms.

6. Veera Lakshmi: Veera Lakshmi, the goddess of courage and strength, is depicted with eight arms and holding various weapons, including a sword and shield.

7. Vijaya Lakshmi: Vijaya Lakshmi, the goddess of victory and success, is depicted holding a lotus flower and a sword.

8. Vidya Lakshmi: Vidya Lakshmi, the goddess of knowledge and education, is depicted holding a book and a lotus flower.

These forms of Lakshmi are often depicted together in art and are worshipped during the festival of Diwali, which celebrates the victory of good over evil and the abundance and prosperity that Lakshmi brings.
